Episode 127- Wood Marchant Director of CRP at the College of Charleston

Wood Marchant and some of his students at the Association of Recovery in Higher Education Conference in Boston this Summer 2019

I am beyond thrilled and honored to have had the opportunity to talk with Wood Marchant from the College of Charleston Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP).

Wood and I discuss his journey, how he went to College of Charleston and now his life has come full circle. Wood started drinking when he attended the college and now Wood has over two decades of recovery himself.

Wood shares his experience strength and hope with us and about his job as the Director of the CRP. He is boots on the ground at a college campus. Colleges are where young people tend to drink a lot. Wood has helped make a safe haven for young adults that attend the college to come and feel safe while also finding support and tools to continue on their road to recovery.

Please listen to a person in recovery that is making a difference every day on the College of Charleston campus.
